The Brick Short Course is an outgrowth of the original Plant Operator’s Forum that was held in 1956. The course is a combination of lectures on all aspects of brick manufacturing reinforced by hands-on testing of raw materials and brick from each student’s plant. The course follows material through the plant, and lectures are included on factors that are used to judge the quality of brick products.
This course is for anyone interested in the technology of manufacturing – from Plant Supervisors to Company Presidents and is recommended for those employees that want to gain new skills to further help them advance in their usefulness to their employers.
